I started drawing at a very early age.........literally, I was around 2 years old. I drew what I referred to as Devil dolls, they were ladies with horns and long dresses with bell sleeves. Love sculpting, all mediums really. I went to school in Arizona where the arts were encouraged. In my 20's I started a commercial art business in Texas that catered to mostly ad agencies. I found myself many years later doing murals and eventually faux finishing. I had no idea that what I had been doing for years in my own home was actually a profitable profession. I was delighted! For the last 10 years or so I have had the opportunity to work in some of the most prestigious homes in the country. I work in everything from plasters to paint and gold-leaf. Started doing canvas again after many years of not picking up a brush. I found my joy all over again! Now painting is all I want to do. I guess as long as I can create something, I will be just fine:)
